It's with great sadness I share with you all that my Dear Father In Law Dominic Ventura Passed away this morning at 10:30am . He had a massive stroke yesterday . He was 90 years young , he was with it till the very end..He was My Husbands Best Friend.. I want to share a few moments in his life with you all.
celebrate it with me and know that he's in a good
place...I want to tell what I think is a great family tradition that my Father In Law kept going for the past 54 years..Every Christmas Eve My Father in law and his 4 little kids would head out to get the christmas tree (they had to do it then cause it was cheaper lol) while my mom in law stayed home to make the sauce.. can you tell they're Italian...they would come home with what they thought was a great tree and set it up , eat the pasta and then the kids were each allowed to put one ornament each on the tree...the kids went off to bed with dreams of Santa coming down the chimney with all the presents. During the night as the kids were just falling asleep their dad would dress up as Santa and come into each room and shake these jingle bells ever so lightly so as not to totally wake them.. as the morning approched Mom & Dad were very busy decorating the tree with lights and beautiful ornaments and of course putting all the presents under the tree. When morning came the children would jump out of bed so excited knowing Santa had been there, the tree was ablaze with the wonders of christmas morning...My in laws kept that tradition going in that each Christmas Eve my father in law would dress up as Santa and each child no matter how old would sit on his lap & tell him what he wanted Santa to bring him the next morning.. The emotions this stirs are fabulous , I will miss you Dad...

her designers have such a Bohemian flair to them...just love them both and also love the fact that you are all so supportive of all the new artists shops I've been posting about...in this economy we all can use the boost..
