Moving Dime Store Emporium to bigger Diggs...

I decided to move my Etsy Shoppe down to my basement , the supplies were taking over my little  studio so I wasn't getting any new designs done. The basement was our catch all for everything..ugh.the treadmill that I swore I would use ( my daughter bought me, with her own money oops)..a house is just not a home without one.. so with the help of some friends we started the move.. here are the before & during the set up pictures, when it's done I'll post about it again. wish me luck..
I'm down here with the jumping camel cricket spider thingys.they are so gross. Magic the cat will take care of them real quick..

Didn't go to the Faire... Rain Rain Rain......

I unfortunately had to make the decision not to drive the 2 1/2 hours to Medford to do the Halloween Craft Faire... I just couldn't do it in the Rain..I hope they got a good turnout ...
Anyway I did get to spend time with my family , My Mom was up from Florida so my Brother brought his 3 boys and Jessy and I went to my sisters to just hang out with the brood... these kids are just the cutest.  You can't help but smile at some of there antics.. I have to tell you a funny story .. we all got to talking about taking the kids to church and their reactions to it.. wait till you hear this I almost peed my pants.. one of the boys asked his father when looking at the very large Cross behind the alter " who's the guy on the T".. out of the mouths of babes. here's some pictures from today...

be selling their creations at the Handmade Faire in Medford, NJ this Saturday October 25 from 10-4 , selling their creations. You'll find amazing Handmade finds such as handmade soaps, unique jewelry, paper crafts, metal sculptors, clothing designers, basket weavers, painters and much more - everything you need to start and finish your holiday shopping! All items are being represented by the artist that created it, it is truly a wonderful thing to buy a one of a kind item directly from the hands that created it!
 
The first 100 visitors will receive our signature treat bags, chock full of free goodies from local

Fire Escapes of NYC

I know you may think this an odd post but  these are photo's my daughter took for a school (FIT) project and she really got some very cool shots.  Who would think that a fire escape can look so neat.  So enjoy , next time you see a cool fire escape take a photo.. yeah that's it we'll start a trend...

Fabulous Weekend at Art-Is You Retreat in CT.

What a great weekend I had at Art-is You , I've never been to an Art retreat before.  Not really knowing what to expect I was so happy to be there meeting all the other women, who all came together to create. Sal & Ellen did an extraordinary job. They thought of everything, they had little surprises to give out all weekend.  I created a notebook for each participant , to commemorate the retreat. Each one was different , The ladies loved them... I met some wonderful people, ones that I will want to keep in touch with. Taryn & Scott Reese of  Navel Jelly Studios This couple is the NICEST two people I have met in a real long time... you must go see their stuff.. they had the best display... very original....
Another Fab friend of mine was there , Pamela Huntington she taught some way cool workshops that all the ladies raved about.

Getting ready for Art-Is You Retreat..in Cromwell CT.

I can't believe how quickly it's come up...I think you can still sign up if you haven't already go to Art-is .com I still have a Jillion things to do to get ready.  I'll be a vendor and I'm bringing  just about everything in my studio...and I'm still knee deep in making stuff..I think I need an assistant.
