Dear Mr President...How I wish he would listen.

I first heard this song on MTV, a show about getting out and voting. This song sent chills down my spine. What ever your political thoughts are , I ask one thing of you today just listen to this song and pass it on to all you love. Hopefully who ever gets elected will be listening to these words ..This is such a powerful song, I can't stop thinking about it.  Please give it a listen. Thanx Terri.

Sorry I haven't been posting this week , but my MAC was in the shop until last night...don't even ask..crazy week..
I wanted to post about this wonderful charm swap I was part of.

one of the charms we made is to go on a bracelet and be auctioned off for a Breast Cancer Fundraiser , these are the charms that I received, each one so pretty and all so different ..

That's right Kids I'll be bringing all my goodies to The Art-isYou  retreat in Cromwell CT Next month... I can't believe it's already Fall..and Art-is-You is coming around so fast..I can't wait to go It's my first retreat..I know it's going to be a  Blast... I just want to show you all some of the great Handmade Patina Finishes I'm working on..I have them listed in my Etsy Shop Dime Store Emporium now...They are going quick, I can't seem to make enough of them....I love creating them, it's always a new finish, & I never know for sure what they are going to look like.

My Sweet Daughters Birthday...

What a fab time we had at the Feast of St. Gennero in Little Italy NYC, the weather was perfect, the company could not have been better, My Son Bobby, Daughter & Birthday Girl Jessy, Her Boyfriend Jeff and my Husband Bill. We had a great Dinner at Pellegrino's on Mulberry St. ( which was closed to traffic for the feast) Wonderful pasta , all home made. They had a great cake for Jessy....we're all so full, didn't even have room for Zeppoli's
(my favorite fried Dough with powdered sugar. ) Happy Birthday Jessy, I love you with all my heart

The Gangs All Here...........Yippee !!!!

 

I had the best day yesterday, I invited a Ridiculously talented group of ladies over to my house for a brainstorming session about some wonderful workshop events that we'll be hosting in this most fabulous warehouse in Port Washington. I will post more about those particulars soon. These Women, these Artists,and I am thrilled to say, My Friends, are just to cool for words, Linda Ashton.. Milliner Extraordinare , Her eye for the finest of details is surpassed by none. Pam Huntington A most fabulous mixed media Artist. Suze Weinberg Her talent , her products what can I say, I bow to her , I wish i could get in her head and just learn a smidge of all that she knows..I'd be a happy women. Lisa Kettell I don't even know where to begin, her wide range of talent is unbeliveable her fairie art is just fanstatic.  These women and myself will be heading up an Art Group which will be holding workshops on a regular basis...details to follow. xo Terri
